The word “English Coaching” is sometimes used as another word for “English classes.” Here at MyEC, “English Coaching” has a method behind it. This is how it’s unique:

The first major difference between teaching and coaching is that Coaching is ULTRA-Personalized. How do we personalize your English classes? First, the MyEC Methodology starts with a session called the “Discovery Diagnostic Session”, in which your coach and you will have a brain-friendly, calm conversation about you as a person and details about your English goals. Also, you will discuss how you learn best 

#2: Co-Creation

Then, the second key element of English Coaching is co-creation of your program: You and your coach will create a personalized English class program together using the information from your “Discovery Diagnostic Session,” so you can reach maximum fluency and confidence in the shortest time possible. 

Your personalized program may or may not use traditional methods such as books. If you haven’t had success with traditional English learning from books, this is the perfect opportunity for you to discover what is best for YOU!

#3: Goals + Routine

Creating goals and a routine is another essential characteristic of English Coaching. Your coach will guide you through this process to build an English routine that is realistic and will motivate you to keep learning as you become more fluent and confident. 

#4: Reflection + Feedback

The fourth element is constant reflection, feedback and growth. Your coach will provide you with the space to reflect on your progress, give feedback on your biggest errors and mistakes and work with you to push you outside of your comfort zone and into the next level.
